We wish our hard working 1st secretary Sybille a speedy recovery from surgery and we look forward to see her back with us in the near future. Sybille is still looking after bookings so ring her on 0427 234 350 and wish her well!

Our long standing Austrian Keglers group have decided to not to continue in 2024 due to lack of team players. For many years this group represented the club winning many championships along the way and even got themselves into the “S.A. Bowling Hall of Fame” for the amount of times they entered the annual state championship. We wish to acknowledge all past and present players for their wonderful contribution they made to this group and I am sure there will be fond memories from years gone past. Congratulations to you all!

Also missing from this year’s program is our monthly “Filmnachmittag” which has been running for several years now. It has stopped due to low attendances. We wish to thank Franz Tomasin and his team of supporters for their wonderful efforts to present these enjoyable afternoons. These afternoons will be missed.

The club is always open to new groups and ideas so if you have something in mind please let us know!

In March I have been invited to attend The Austrian Club Melbourne 80th birthday celebrations and I will extend our best wishes to their president Fritz Reiterer for their wonderful achievement.

Our 2024 club program is now in full swing so do not stay at home, come in and enjoy some happy hours at the club.
