Our clubrooms received a major facelift recently with work done on the timber floor in the hall. The floor we stripped down, sanded and recoated and now looks fantastic. It is really a fresh look and the club looks more inviting to visit. The club’s car park spaces and other signage has been given a fresh coat of paint thanks to the efforts by Franz Tomasin. Thanks Franz for a great job.

Air conditioning will soon be installed into our kitchen to make working conditions more comfortable for our fantastic kitchen staff. They are doing a wonderful job and we are sure the air conditioning will be very welcomed.

The committee has started planning for an upgrade of the Ladies restrooms and we will be applying for a grant to help offset the costs. Hopefully we can start this upgrade in the second half of the year.

We would like to thank all members and friends for their continuing support of our activities and it is very pleasing to see improved attendance on Friday nights thanks to the great menus being produced by Claudia and her team. Well done!

We are going to have a visit from the president of Austria’s Weltbund. Mr. Werner Goetz will visit the club on the 10 th / 11th July. If members would like to say hello or perhaps have a question Mr. Goetz will be at the club on Friday evening 11th July.

The 2025 AGM will be held on Sunday the 10th August at 2:30pm and all members are welcomed to attend. There will be a free light meal and drinks available after the meeting.

We are always looking for more help so if you are interested in getting involved in club activities please consider joining our great committee.
