At our National Day Festival we honoured our long standing life member Eva Pacek for her outstanding contribution and dedication to our club. A special engraved momento for this occasion was presented to Eva with a huge thank you from all of us at the club.

Congratulations and best wishes must go to our table tennis group who celebrated their 60th year as a sub-group of our club. Special mention must go to Franz Tomasin who has led this group for many years. What a wonderful milestone in our history and the group shows no signs of slowing down.

As we head towards the festive season I am sure the momentum will continue as we have our traditional Krampus Rummel on Saturday 7th December. The evening will feature an appearance of St.Nicolas and he will be joined by Krampus to make sure you have a devil of a time. Don’t forget to bring along a small gift for your friends and leave them at the door for Krampus to deliver. With music from Herbert Stauber it is a night not to be missed so please contact Sybille and book a seat.

Our club Christmas party will be held on Friday the 20th December and what a night it will be. Father Christmas will be dropping in for the children with each child receiving a small gift. Music from the Jaegermeister Band will give the evening a very festive touch and of course there will be a special Christmas menu from our talented cooks. Bring the whole family to this very special event. Book early to avoid disappointment.

The last event of the year will be our New Year’s Eve Party featuring the music of Herbert Stauber. It is always a night of fun and a great way to bring in the new year. Celebrate with family and friends and join our huge event on the 31st of December. Please book with Sybille on 427 234 350.
